In Paddington, about a block away from Paddinton Station, there is a small place I've stayed twice called the Dolphin. It was really nice but basic, includes breakfast, is really quiet and has a beautiful park across the street.

The Rushmore

I stayed here a few years ago and it was really cute. It was really close to Earls Court and it was pretty cheap.

Not sure how pricey but a few years back I stayed at the Hotel Intercontinental with my parents they towel rack was heated it was marvolous
