Rocky - about San Diego
Permalink Closed

I should private message, but I don't know how. Sorry!

Anyway, just wanted to ask what the job/housing market is like in San Diego? I'm seriously considering moving there, and wondering if the economy is good? And how the rents are (I would rent, not buy, since I'd probably stay for only a few years). Any info?

I'm not Rocky but from what I know San Diego is as expensive as Orange County (if not worse).  It will depend on what part of San Diego you will be moving to.  The closer to the ocean the more expensive rent will be.  Do you know which city you are moving to?

Lisa, what type of career are you looking for? As for the housing, buying a house is like impossible with the prices, I rent too. The rent itself is pretty high, but there are areas where it is more reasonable, I don't know how it compares to where you live now. You can PM me if you want and I can give you price ranges and area suggestions. If you click on my name it give you my profile, and there is a link to PM me there.
