Just thought that I would let you all know that I must have done something REALLY wrong because I am suffering the oangs of hell on earth at work.


I just found out that they created a new position at a higher level than me, they are going to pay $20K more than I make AND give this new person half of my responsibilities!!!  I need to find a new job really fast or I am going to end up quitting and taking a bartending job.

Oh Farrah that completely sucks! Is there a chance you can interview for this position? If that's not an option then they've screwed you and I would look elsewhere.


Man I thought my old job was bad!


I'll give you the advice my friends gave me when they hired someone else to do my job.

Oh that's awful! They did that to one of my bosses last year. Whatever happens, don't let people at work think it's a bad thing. She played it off like they'd given her more responsibility, and ended up getting a promotion, but I know, because we're friends, that she thought they were trying to push her out. Good luck.
