I just started work today, and now I realize that it may not be the greatest of ideas to wear 2 1/2 in. heels every day when you have to bend down to get things or run around the office trying to get things. If I keep this up, I'll be seeing a chiropractor for my 25th birthday . So I started to shop for flatter shoes after work today. Namely, ballet slippers. Right now I only own one pair, which is a pair of ancient beat-up Chanels which are nearing the end of their lifespan.
I tried on a pair of Delman suede ballet slippers that were very comfy, but I don't even want to know how much they cost. I felt too shy to ask, because it was at a boutique in Beverly Hills and I was trying not to give the girls a reason to be snotty with me (stupid, I know ).
I also saw a pair of French Sole ballet slippers in a zebra print that were really really cute, but I have no idea on the quality or anything of those shoes. Anyone have any experiences with French Sole...or London Sole, for that matter? There's a London Sole store not too far from my apartment that I've never been to and I'd consider going there to get some shoes if they were wortht he price tag.
Does anyone have any recs for great ballet slippers? I am specifically looking for a black pair and a leopard print pair, although I defintely want to get a ton of pair in lots of colors when the opportunity presents itself!
