Man, I don't know what my problem is.  I am going to pick up my  new car tonight and I am freaking out.  Ever since I made the decision to get it I have had butterflies in my stomach.  I hate, hate, hate making big purchases, they freak me out.  And I'm really sad about getting rid of my old car.  I am so attached to her.  There, I feel better just typing that out because everybody thinks I'm crazy for not being happy about getting a new car.  I wonder about myself sometimes.

It's okay, thats normal. :)
I'm sure you'll get over it once your driving your new car around.
What kind are you getting?

I was the same way. I think it had something to do with the fact that my last car was paid for, and I was about to be paying a note. But I then got over it as I drove it w/ no car porblems, a warranty and free roadside assistance!

Funny I'm never apprehensive when I spend what I pay for the amount of 1 payment(or more) on a handbag! So I guess I'd be throwing the $$$ around anyway!Might as well have reliable transportation!

I had my previous car (Jeep Cherokee) for about 6 years, I paid it off 2 years ago so I have been spoiled by not having a car payment.  Here is my new car (Grand Cherokee).  I feel so weird driving it, but at least now i know that it is reliable.  I feel much better today then i did yesterday because I know that the stupid car dealership game is over.  That has got to be the most stressful part of buying a car.
