About my little experience like 3 fridays ago....i met another "friend" but i wasn't thinking of it romantically--in fact he was one of the people I called up to tell my married-man-horror story to.

Well, he met me out at the cheesy club that my co-worker insisted that I join her at (she was meeting one of her friends), & i agreed to go w/her b/c they were have $1 drinks. I can def. go along with that, Im not terribly picky. Plus, I could just drink my way to a good time. Anyway, we get there & I already have a little buzz from happy hour, so I was feeling pretty brave. We meet at a "meeting spot" and he wasn't half bad. I mean, he wasn't 50 like that other guy, and he was dressed decent.

So we're hanging out pretty much all night, he would leave to go get drinks- but he would come back- so I assume he was having a decent time also, b/c he could have just walked off (like I would have done if I wanted to get away). Then at the end of the night- he asks me if Im hungry & if I want to get breakfast somewhere. I say cool, let me get my stuff from my friends car, and told him that he could just drop me off at my car which was at my job (not too far from there.) Then, I see him waiting for his car at the valet area, and I go walk off, and when I come back, that mother fu_ker is GONE. He freakin left- and had my friends not have still been waiting for their car- I would have had no ride!! So, I call him to see where he went, still not thinking that HE SOLD ME OUT, and he doesn't answer his phone. What a punk ass.

Come Monday, I see that he's logged on to yahoo msgr. and so I shoot him an im (much against my better judgement b/c that is seriously allowing him to get the last word in) AND HE DOESN'T RESPOND TO ME. So, i delete him from my IM contacts & thought that was that.  [slapping hands together]

So cut to last night....... he calls me.  I didn't answer, but he called.  What is up with that?  I dont get it.  I dont care so much anymore about knowing WTF happened- but I just dont get why he would even call---3 weeks later.  boys.

You're a better woman than I am, Jess. I totally would have answered or called him back to find out what happened. If just for that purpose.

And Dizzy is right. Boys do suck. But men on the other hand...

You have to tell us if you decide to call him or if you talk to him! I think I'm more curious than you are!

You are a better woman than I Jess!  I suggest you put the word out on the street as to what kind of a 'boy' he is . . . at least he might have some trouble getting any more 'dates' !

I would have answered the phone and reamed him a new a-hole!

What a jerk!  Maybe his girlfriend or wife showed up and he had to hightail it out of there quickly.  You know, with your track record...LOL!

I would have picked up the phone to see what he said.  However, if I missed the call, I wouldn't call him back.

Ha!  Right, my damn track record....I thought he'd be semi-different, considering I talked to him about how messed up that last situation was!

I figured, what would he have said that would make a little light bulb go off & make it acceptable?!  He's a fool.  I could understand if maybe he got arrested & put in jail for 3 weeks, or got in a car accident & was unconscious for 3 weeks, or hell-something ligit.  BUT- I saw him logged into to msgr., saw him go from idle, to available, etc.... I guess I won't know what he was thinking taking off like that, but I doubt that me answering the phone would have enlightened me either.  Clearly he has no balls!

And his name is Clint & he lives in Clear Lake & he's moving to California real soon-- so look out!

Ah ha!!!! That's the problem - he lives in Clear Lake! Why didn't you just say so sooner? No one sane lives there. And if they do happen to go in sane, they come out all f'ed up. It's the rule. Something in the water, I suppose.
