I need to find some nifty stuff for my nephew's first birthday. My sister is really into developmental toys, etc. I want to get him some unique stuff she wouldn't find just anywhere. I don't have kids, so I am having a hard time. The budget is $100.

So far I have my eyes on these blocks...

I also love educational/developmental toys.  I have always liked IKEA's toys and they are so affordable...

Or my favorite gift for a baby is to take a cute sturdy box of some kind and fill it with the following:

-A newspaper from the day the baby turns one
-A sports magazine from the week the baby turns one
-A cd with the top 10 songs from the week the baby turns one
-A photo album you can fill with pics from the birthday day or birthday party
-A toy car from the era the baby was born (maybe a Mini Cooper or Prius or something that is newer type car)
-A pack of 2008 baseball cards

You get the drift!
