Currently I the new Billy Tallent cd. I just can not get enough of it. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes heavier rock or punk. It is heavy but has super catchy hooks.
The album that I'm totally obsessed right now is Jesu, which is new music by Justin Broadrick from Napalm Death and Godflesh. It isn't nearly as heavy as those bands though. Kind of reminds me a bit of My Bloody Valentine mixed with metal. I've been listening to My Bloody Valentine (and the MBV-heavy Lost in Translation soundtrack) a lot recently too. It's good winter music.
Oh, sort of random but the other thing I like to listen to in the snow is the Beach Boys so I've been popping Pet Sounds into my discman a lot in the past 2 weeks.
I've been listening to the Nirvana box too. It's nice to have cleaned-up versions of so many songs that were floating around on bootlegs for years. A few of the songs I knew because Hole used to cover them, which I guess gives credence to the theory that Kurt Cobain wrote Live Through This, but I actually like the Hole versions better.
I've been listening to Rilo Kiley's new album, More Adveturous. I'm in love. Also, I know I'm behind the times but I've just started getting into Rufus Wainwright's Poses.
Irradio is more punk. They are very talented musicians, their music is very layered with interesting beats. They are a San Diego local band, that is how I know of them. But you can check out their music on their site irradiomusic.com. They are totally opposite of Pinback, but if you like that style more try NoTwist, Modest Mouse, and Death Cab for Cutie.

Arcade Fire is going to be on Conan tonight. I avoided this band like the plague for some reason (probably too much hipster hype) but my friend told me to check them out. I've only half-listened to their full-length and I downloaded the ep, but they seem pretty good. They've totally exploded recently.
I heart Arcade Fire. Although, I admit their main stream popularity is starting to turn me off a bit. I'm an indie snob, I have no other excuse.
I'm also listening to a lot of Broken Social Scene, Do Make Say Think, The Ordinary Boys, Kings of Leon, Kasabian. I'm still loving Snow Patrol and The Libertines too.
I like Arcade Fire too. Lately I have been listening to Crooked Fingers "Bring on the Snakes," Iron and Wine, Luna since we are going to see their last concert in a few weeks, and Rogue Wave "Out of the Shadow" since I am going to see them on Friday.
