I got an eye infection, that will mean: can't read or watch TV or stay on the computer for too long. Can't stand bright light. No contacts (and I look like grandma with eyeglasses), no eye make-up. I feel soo ugly!
Sorry for the rant, I needed to vent.
Anyway, I'll treat myself to a new mascara when it's done (I have to toss mine anyway, doctor said). What do you suggest for sensitive eyes? In should come both normal and waterproof.
Ugh, I can relate. I had pink eye over Christmas. It was awful...I cheated and wore my contacts earlier than I was supposed to, though. I just couldn't take it! Once it's over, you will SO appreciate the modern marvel that is the contact lens.
As far as mascara goes...I'm not sure I have any advice. I just use the kind in the pink tube w/ the green or black cap. I had to throw out about $60 worth of eye makeup, so I ended up just getting whatever CVS had. So, if the infection came back I wouldn't be so sad about tossing all my good makeup.
So sorry to hear about your sickly eyeballs. Eye infections are the worst!
Ok I know this sounds crazy but wear sunglasses inside. It will help your eyes with all the bright light. People thought I was nuts when I had to do this a few years ago in class but my eyes couldn't handle the powerpoint projector in the room. I had pink eye plus I rubbed my eyes so much I busted a blood vessel and had blood in my eye (very lovely) at the time and sunglasses in doors helped.
I like Featherlash by l'oreal. Monica suggested it and I really like it. I use the waterproof version and I don't need a eye make up remover to take it off.

I know about the powerpoint projector: yesterday class was a torture! And of course the background of most of the slides was white!
I thought about sunglasses, but people would think I am crazy! Yesterday I had the lights in my office off, and they were asking if there was anything wrong with the lightbulbs! If it wasn't painful, I'd say it's funny!
Took a day off today, thoug: I can't stand the laser light I have to work with, and I don't really like pppl seeing me with eyeglasses-no makeup !

I thoink you are right, I should buy the cheap stuff, just in case...
I feel your pain...I had a stye last weekend and had to wear glasses the whole time. I guess the "change your mascara every 3 months" advice really should be stictly adhered to!
