breaking dawn was definitely weird! one of my friends made a joke about it basically saying...

ok finally finished them. i have a different view on breaking dawn--i really liked it. i know what you guys are talking about because it got super-fantastic but i actually really liked that the author explored bella as a mom. because that would've been the most major thing bella would've been giving up if she'd gone vampire beforehand. as for the imprinting thing, yeah it was weird but like someone said earlier on, they totally foreshadowed that w/ quill imprinting on claire the two year old.

also i don't think bella was "leading on" jacob. love triangles are always hard, even w/o all the supernatural stuff.

i'm not sure if bella was leading on jacob either. i think she told him many times how much she loved edward, but he just didn't want to hear it. and with the whole "imprinting" thing, if jacob was supposed to be with bella, wouldn't he have imprinted with/on her? maybe jacob knew that he wasn't supposed to end up with bella subconsciously, and he just had the "i want what i can't have" syndrome.

i also think that maybe i was being harsh when i said i didn't like breaking dawn. i just wanted more of edwards twilight and eclipse behavoir... he's so perfect for her and i sort of missed that. i also wanted the story to go on for a few more books because i was basically really hooked on them.

having a baby was pretty much the only thing that bella would have missed, but i didn't really think her or edward cared about that until she got pregnant. i just think the baby growing at warp speed and all that stuff was a little weird even for a book about vampires and werewolves.

maybe she wasn't leading him on, but i still think it was unfair of her to tell her feelings to jacob and edward. i think if she knew she wanted edward she should have kept her feelings about jacob to herself...

also what i feel about the imprinting thing is -- jacob would have not imprinted at all if bella chose him. i think he only could have imprinted if bella did not choose him...which led to renesmee.
