Hey! I was about to post this same thing. I am going golfing on Wed for work. I do not golf AT ALL. I am thinking about wearing brown bermudas and pink sleeveless polo, but would love to hear what other people suggest as well!

I dont usually wear anything special. some courses don't allow jeans, and having a color (liek a polo shirt) is a good idea if they have a dress code. a polo and bermudas or capris and sneakers is fine.make sure that you can move your arms freely in your shirt.
i love to golf. i just wear a sleeveless or short sleeved polo, and bermudas. i also have super cute golf shoes :) these, but mine are pink and brown if it's cooler, i'll wear an arglye vest.
i never really cared for lilly pulitzer, but there are some cute golf outfits that i wouldn't mine wearing. it's like i'm a different person on the links.
i also have these stupid j,crew-ish critter shorts with a bunch of different color polos. have fun!!!

The dress code at many private and semi-private courses require that you have either sleeves or a collar on your shirt. The club I played at last year also required that shorts be 9" inseem. It may be a good idea to call ahead and ask what their policy is before the game.
I'm just gonna add in sunscreen! Don't forget to wear sunscreen. I know that's not exactly the answer you were looking for, but playing 9 (or 18 if you're feeling masochistic) holes will get you a bad burn if you're not careful.

How did it go esquiress? Mine went really well! I ended up wearing a black golf shirt with my sleeveless polo. I'm glad I went with the skirt because it was in the high 90s here today and extremely humid!
