I work part time at AE in summers and winter break.
I work at a text-book store at my university the rest of the time.
I'm currently in my 2nd year going for secondary ed. with a major in language writing, reading and a minor in sociology. Then I will get my masters in either english or soc, then my PhD and teach at the college level and write books. Hopefully I'll teach at U of M. I either want to focus on gender studies or Shakespeare, my two passions! Ta-da.
I am a graduate student. My main research is in linguistics, and my minor is folklore. I am taking my Ph.D exams in less than a month, and then I'll start writing my thesis, yay!! I love, love, love what I'm doing.
Shipping/Export Assistant at an almond trading company. Hopefully I'll become a trader someday, but if not, back to school I go! Probably law school, to study international law.
Full time: I'm a graphic designer at a publishing company in Chicago. I design childrens books, stationery, and really cute stuff, but the pay is crap!
Freelance: I design and handmake wedding invitations, photo albums, guest books, picture frames and greeting cards. I want to do this full time from home someday in my very own studio. It is taking off slowly but surely and I have had a lot of good advice from you girls! :) This is what I love doing the most.
Volunteer: I design event stationery for Cancer Treatment Research Foundation events and Arden Shore Child and Family Services events
I officially had to say it yesterday. I am in between jobs! Booo!
I just left my job for one with more structure (Managing a product at 23 is not as fun as it sounds, especially when you have no previous experience.) Maybe I should take the whole summer off!
