I'm going in tomorrow morning at 9:30 for my brreast implant surgery. I'm really nervous. If you pray, pray for me to be calm and for everything to go as planned with minimal pain of course!

Oh, do I understand! I was incredibly nervous the night before my (reduction) surgery - I don't recall ever being so scared. BUT in the end it worked out terrifically and I feel great ... and I'd do it again! You've thought hard about this and I am sure you did your research and made sound choices. Just relax, get lots of rest, and try not to worry. This time tomorrow you'll be done and I am sure you'll be satisfied. Very best wishes for safe and happy recovery! We'll be thinking of you - pls check in and let us know how it went. ((hugs))

I bet it's an excited nervous though! You will be fine. Not that I have had this done, but I know the majority of women that have had this procedure are perfectly fine and happy with their results. Just focus on the increased self confidence you'll have with your new body - that's the whole reason you are doing it anyway. Good luck and relax!

Don't forget to take some 'before' pics in some of your favorite outfits/swimsuits too. You'll have some fun comparing the 'before' to your 'after' in a couple weeks!

You'll do fine! I had it done and it wasn't that bad. Just remember to take it easy, take your medicine on a schedule even if you aren't hurting (better to take it when you feel okay then wait until you're in pain), and use this time to relax and recoupe.
Other tips:
I would take a trash bag with you for the ride home from the hospital. Anethesia makes a lot of people sick so you'd rather throw up in a trash bag than in someone's car.
Keep a phone next to your bed for when you need something. I had my cellphone next to me so I could call my mom (who was only downstairs) because it hurt to yell.
For the first few days after the surgery, it is usually helpful to have someone around to help pull you out of bed because your chest muscles are so sore you can't hoist yourself up.
I found sleeping on a stack of pillows was the most comfortable position.
I hope everything is successful tomorrow and you love your results! If you have any questions or concerns, please private message me because I know what you're going through!
Lots of luck Collette!! I hope that everything goes well and that your recovery is speedy.
I second sfcvandy's suggestion of a trash bag for the car. I had a minor procedure done last year and they gave me twilight which is the same anethesia that they use for plastic surgery and I had to have my bf pull over 3 times during the 1 mile drive home so that I could get sick:(. I'm not trying to scare you, but better safe than sorry!

You will be fine. I have a few close friends who've done this and they were surprised at how easy it was! Try to take a xanax or something similar tomorrow morning to ease your nerves before you go in. Good luck!!!
