Hello, just checkin in for the non shoppers. I was successful again this weekend. Just groceries and toilet paper/other essentials at Target. I did make one "non essential" purchase - Carmen Electra's Fit to Strip DVD - but I am really trying to work out more and distract myself from the clothes and shoes. And I have to say this DVD was awesome! I was actually excited to be doing push ups and lunges and I'm very pleasantly sore today from the work out.
How did everyone else do?
p.s. does it help to have this separate post or should we just post in the regular weekend shopping thread?

Hey girl! I made it another week! I checked my bank account and can't believe how much I have in it plus how much I've saved. I actually went to the mall this weekend and didn't find anything I liked again!! I was so excited. I also had no desire to try clothes on. I am making progress.
The only stuff I spent money on was fruit and veggies Saturday and textbooks last week ($300 so far ) but I did sell one this week for $60 so I got a little money back.
PS- keep this one seperate and not in weekend shopping.
I made it through the weekend without any shopping whatsoever. Of course we were socked in with the blizzard, but there really wasn't much of a temptation to shop either.
i didn't do any shopping this week either. this is my second non-shopping week, since the stuff i was looking at last week i ended up not buying. i'm quite proud of myself, but not sure how long i can hold out.

I LOVE the Fit to Strip vid!! I don't do it as much as I should because I really prefer cardio, but it definitely gives results.
I only bought DVDs that were presents, so I've been good. Granted, school just started and I'm trying to get an internship, which is causing great amounts of drama in my life. *sighs*
I just realized I'm running out of moisturizer, acne stuff, and cleanser, so I have to get those.
I didn't shop at all this week either. However, when I get paid at the end of the week, I must buy some new shoes for work. I'm tired of my feet hurting all the freaking time. I have to buy at least one new pair of winter work shoes. But that will be about it for me.
I recently sat down with all of my bills and figured out that in a year and a half, I'll be completely debt free (from everything but student loans) if I really hunker down and pay larger amounts on my debts. I couldn't believe that it would take me such a short amount of time. That really motivated me to get moving and get rid of my debt. So, I will not be shopping nearly as much for the time being.
I actually made money this week on returns (yay)! I love it when that happens. The only thing I'm buying this weekend is lunch, cause the rest of the time I get to try on wedding dresses! Definitely not buying any of those yet!

Only school books this week. I'm still recovering from my huge cave-in last week. I haven't yet received or been charged for everything that I ordered but it's going to hurt. ouch.
okay girls.. so after my trip to LA, i'm done shopping until 4-1 or until the BR spring stuff goes on sale. my birthday is in a few weeks, so that should hold me over. but i'm joining the club.
