i have two friends that recently got engaged and i'd like to send them each a small simple gift to say congratulations. i don't normally do engagement gifts, but it seems especially appropriate to me since in both cases these friends are former co-workers and so are their fiance's. (yes, i used to work with all 4 of them at the same company) i was unable to attend one engagement party and don't know if the other couple will be having one or not. is a nice bottle of bubbly and a sincere card too boring or is it just about right for the occasion? any other ideas? thanks! __________________ ak
