Okay I've kinda gotten away from most of the Hold Everything stuff I've posted before. The only thing left is this coffee table. I really like this coffee table. I guess I am very particular about exactly the kind of purpose/function that furniture has sometimes.. and I am really liking this. The only thing is it's price. It's $295 and I know I could get alot of other coffee tables out there for less than half this price. But I love the drawers and I feel like I've done alot worse on a pair of shoes. Can I justify this coffee table at $295? Please help!
It is completely justifiable. You could find a table for cheaper I suppose but probably not one that is comparable. It looks great and is completely functional so I would go for it.

i think it's a great piece for the price. i was just in the holdeverything store and was pleasantly suprised at the quality of their furniture pieces, as was my husband who is picky, picky, picky when it comes to quality. my only red flag: the chocolate/espresso stain is everywhere right now (kind of like the light maple was about 5 years ago). i think the darker is more classic than the light, but just think about how you might feel about it a few years down the road (when the hot new stain is _____ ). the darker stain mixes well with other wood finishes too, we have both cherry and the espresso in our place and they compliment eachother well. i think it's a great piece and i was actually considering the side table (cropped out of the pic you posted) for a room in my house.
please let me know how you like it if you decide to get it!
You know, I used to think paying a lot for furniture was ridiculous. I worked at a designer furn. store (Kartell, BluDot, BDI, Innovation, etc...) for a few years, and although the furniture was gorgeous, I thought it was way overpriced. Then I fell in love with a $500 coffee table by BluDot (with storage but not drawers). It was beautiful, and I wanted it. I ended up painting 4 small rooms in my boss' apartment in exchange for $200 in cash and my soulmate-of-a-coffetable (the floor model). I am so glad that I have that table now! Having a nice coffeetable makes your whole living room look better. I think you should definately buy this table. If you really like it now, you'll love it more when you place it in your house. That is a good price for a beautiful table!
i think it's definitely a "go!" now if they would just let me move into my new apt already! grrrrrrrrr! closing date has been pushed back yet again! new construction is so annoying.
i'll let you guys know how it is when i get it. i will probably buy it after the move so i don't have to bring it from apt to apt. also the tax in nj is less!
