Last summer I spent the entire summer weeping that I didn't have these beautiful Christian Louboutin wedge espadrilles!



Last year, I just couldn't justify the $250+ (I can't remember the price exactly.. I think it may have been $220) for a shoe made out of natural fiber that would probably smell bad and/or look gross after the end of the summer. But a friend of mine had them... I was always so sad when I saw her because in my mind they were the perfect summer shoe. BTW the ribbon comes in black, olive green, yellow, white, red, lots of beautiful colors and the wedge part is more natural colored in person... in this picture it's strangely very yellow.

Well I was looking through Allure last night and saw these!!!!!



In Allure the ribbon was yellow and they were EXACTLY like the Louboutins!!! They are Carlos by Carlos Santana and $82!!!! I know that $82 isn't dirt cheap but it's alot better than $270 (that's this year's price tag for the Louboutin's!). I can't wait to get them... I am so thrilled! I was afraid I may have to break down and buy the Louboutins because I was so in love last year... but now there is definitely no way I'm going to shell out $250+ bucks for those shoes! What a relief! :)

Just wanted to share! Don't you love designer knock-offs?

Those are beautiful and even better when you can get them for a steal! I do like the red pair and I can see them with so many things all summer long.

escrime bliss - I saw them in Allure magazine in yellow but on Zappos they are only in red! They must be a new item... so hopefully more colors will be coming in! Yipeeeeeeeeeeee!

Carlos Santana does some *very* accurate 'inspired by' versions - I am generally very impressed with them. Those are super cute, btw!

Those shoes are super hot girl!!  I think that I may have to get them once my ban is over.  I always allow myself to purchase 3 pairs of new sandals every year anyway - seeing as how most of my pairs only last one season.  If you get them make sure you post a review!

Great minds think alike!  I was eyeing those as well when I saw them in Allure.  I can't wait to get them.  I love wedges so much and am so happy they are popular again - so many more choices for us wedge-lovers!

ooohhh...they are on Nordstrom's site right now in 3 different colors for $78.95, but the red doesn't look as rich as on Zappos...

I just went ahead and ordered them on Zappos in the red in my size (7).  They pricematched nordstrom, and I got a 10% discount on top of that (military discount), and I got them for $70.    I can't wait to get them!
