Puerto Rico weather?

Can someone give me some anecdotal information about the climate in Puerto Rico? Is it real muggy and humid in the Summer? What about the rest of the year?

I was there the end of August several years back. I didn't find it overly muggy. It was more humid than I like, but I really cannot tolerate humidity. I would say the temperature was in the mid 80s. It didn't cool off in the evenings as much as I would have expected. Walking back from a late dinner I was still warm, where at home I would have been comfortable/cool. I was only there for about 2 days, so I don't know how true it will hold for when you go.
