If you're walking down the street in a movie, what song is playing?

I don't know that I would necessarily call it my theme song, but I listen to "Money Talks" by AC/DC almost every day on my way to the subway. So maybe it's just my heading to work theme song.

Hee, Halleybird!

Mine is the piece of music that plays in Kill Bill 1 when O Ren Ishi and her gang are walking into the restaurant...

Probably 'I want you back' by the Jackson 5. The lyrics aren't really applicable to my life, but the melody is great and always makes me happy. It's also the ringtone on my cell.

The song that's getting the most love in my iPod right now is "Brick" by Ben Folds Five. But it's by no means a reflection of how my life is going right now. Although it makes great teary movie music.

My theme song as of now is probably "Private Radio" by Vanessa Carlton. Or maybe "They'll Soon Discover" by The Shins.

It varies..

for the longest time it was "As" by Stevie Wonder..

lately it's been

(I should be a little embarrassed about this...but I'm not..)

"It's not unusual" by Tom Jones..

I'm painfully corny sometimes..

ooh--i always think about this when i hear new songs--i like to picture them playing as the soundtrack to a movie.

one that i really like is "tower of learning" by rufus wainwright, especially the long outtro part.  it's kind of music for a bittersweet but hopeful ending.  i picture it as the music playing over the scene where i walk down the street and into the sunset after leaving everything behind and knowing i will be ok.

"kodachrome" is a good one--sometimes i have "me and julio down by the schoolyard" and "diamonds on the soles of her shoes" as my soundtrack also.
