my new jeans that i love love loved the wash, fit and style of in the store have way too low of a rise in the back for my taste now that i'm wearing them in the real world. since i've snipped the tags off of and had hemmed, i'm afraid they are mine for good. they were $130+ sevens, so i'm pretty intent on making them work.
so, do i fix this problem with super long tees and shirts over the said jeans? belts aren't really my thing, so that's not the answer. i wanted these to be my everyday fabulous jeans that i could even wear to play with my son at preschool (which means i'll be kneeling, squatting and jumping around in them)
if the extra long shirts are the best answer, any suggestions on where to find? flipping through the delia's catalog, i see a few that look superlong and they are pretty cute (and cheap!), but any other suggestions would be great since i'm not sure i can count on delia's for quality.
Long tees and camis are everywhere. Urban Outfitters has lots, and so does BP at Nordstroms. I still have all my express tees and camis from last year, they are soo comfortable and won't break your bank.
I would also suggest some low-rise undies and a belt if have some reg. length tops you want to wear with your fabu-jeans. Here are some long tee's on sale at Old Navy right now:
They come in a huge variety of colors, too.
