my sister is preggo! yay! and i want to get a head-start of the favors for the shower. i would prefer to make something as i did for her bridal shower.  i did "cookies in a jar" which was a mason jar with all of the ingredients to her favorite cookie, so all the recipients had to do was add butter and vanilla. it was a big hit (mostly b/c it was something that ppl could actually use) so i'd like to not dissapoint this time :)


any ideas would be really helpful. tia!!

here are two ideas off the top of my head:

handmade soap (made by you or perhaps by someone else)

a potted flower (i did these for my shower and they were a hit)

For my baby shower, my best friend ordered little flower seed packages with a little poem with my child's chosen name on it.  They were each wrapped in a little blue felt diaper and were very cute.  The only thing is the shower was in July, it would have been more appropriate for planting flowers I think if done for an early Spring shower.
