On 3 separate occasions over the past 2 months or so Girlshop has allowed me to put a purchase through their website only to inform me 1-2 days later, via e-mail, that they are out of stock. This is completely frustrating and annoying, especially because - come on - how hard is it to automate the tracking of the stock online? Lots of non-clothing stores online seem capable of this.
So, if you're buying something form them (especially a popular item) - maybe you'd be best calling them first before bothering with all the cc crap.
They did give me a 10% discount code last time it happened and other than this one problem Girlshop actually seems better organized than a lot of other online shops but...argh! It just sucks to think you've scored something awesome only to find out the next day that you haven't...

i had a similar prob. with a pair of shoes i really wanted from there. i kept waiting and waiting..they emailed me twice saying it was backordered, kept pushing back the date...and then they canceled my order because the shoes apparently had some kind of defect? but they continued to list the shoes on their site...odd.
