 I put an ad on craigslist.org looking for a mommy friend in my area because I want to make more mommy friends.   My ad says "STRICTLY PLATONIC" , and it says "I am a full-time professional working mom, who enjoys lots of shopping, reading, movies and dinners out with the girls. I'm looking for a mommy buddy who enjoys the same things I do."  


 


So this guy writes me back:  


"hey sweetie..wats up..your the first one and the last one that im writing to on this from this site...well im 25 male all italian and from clifton nj..north jersey..im cute..dark hair..light eyes...all italian like i said...u can see by my pics what i really look like....I know that area where u live...not too far from me at all....what im looking for is just a female friend to go out with...see where it leads to you know...i don want to just jump into something....im into bars..clubs..dinner..lunch of course...the city life...movies..roller blading..you know the usual...maybe even a concert or a comedy show here and there...and see what develops..you know!! I am told to have a GREAT SENSE of humor and a great personality...and a heart of gold..believe me when i tell you..i dont want to sound like a run on though and sound like im selling myself cause thats not me..and im not like that or about that....i know u wanna know what i do now..no im not some lazy bum ok....I used to own a pizzeria and sold it and am now just looking for another one to buy...in the mean time though im doing loans....thats what i do...what do you do?? what are you looking for...interests??

Evidently he can't read! Not to stereotype anyone with the Italian thing (I am full blooded Sicilian, born there) but the owned a pizzaria and now doing "loans" gave me a pause!

That is flippin' hilarious!!  I love the pic that he is in with the guy and 3 girls and he is the SHORTEST one!!  Hahahahahahaha!! 


That guy seriously needs to learn to read.  Of course, if I were you I would be crystal clear in my listing that you are engaged and would like to meet another woman in your situation so that you can share mommy stories and your children can play together.  Hopefully no one will get confused if you are really blunt!

I KNOW HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Holy crap!  It was so funny because while I was reading that, I was like "wow, that sounds like Jason" and then IT WAS!!!!!!


OMG!  He started IM'ing me when I was about 18 and I didn't have any intention of meeting him and then I found out my friend in school had gotten IM's from him too and HAD met him and I hung out with him a couple times with her and him.  We used to talk on the phone all the time, but I was definitely never interested in him and I don't think he was interested in me either (he had this gf Suzy that he always cheated on-supposedly he hasn't been with her for years though.  I met her a couple times-she was BEAUTIFUL-no idea what she was doing with him).  He was sometimes fun to talk to on the phone if I was in a goofy type of mood, but a lot of times I found him to be really annoying.  When I was friends (and I use this term loosely) with him, I spent a lot of time dodging his phone calls.


I stopped talking to him all together because of this situation:


I had sent an e-mail joke to a bunch of people including Jason and the guy I was seeing at the time (new relationship,not defined as a boyfriend yet).  Jason got the e-mail address of the guy I was seeing from the list of people I sent the e-mail to and took it upon himself to start writing to him pretending he was a girl and hitting on him.  I found this out because one day me and my guy were hanging out at my house and I signed on and Jason IM'd me and Luis was like "oh my god, that person writes to me" and then the whole story unfolded.  Apparently Luis took the bait too because Jason forwarded me all the conversations that he had with Luis once I found out.  In the e-mails Luis had said he wasn't dating anyone and they were even planning to meet.  Even though Luis wasn't technically my boyfriend yet, I was really pissed.  We did say we were seeing each other only so for him to tell Jason he wasn't with anyone really made me mad.  I stopped talking to both of them.


Every once in a while, Jason will IM me still.  99.9% of the time I ignore him.  I will talk to him maybe once a year.  I've been to the pizza place that he used to own (somehow I think it was really a family member that owned it, but I can't prove that).  I think that was about 2 years ago.


Oddly enough, he IM'd me a few weeks ago and he was trying to get me to go to AC with him.  He asked me if I was pregnant so maybe he just has a thing for pregnant women.  He was always a sleazy pick-up artist and OMG-those stupid pictures on his site!  He is this short little Italian kid who is always trying too hard to look really cool.  Haha...so when he was asking me to go to AC, I told him I would meet him there and he said "ok, cell me up when you get there" and I was like "Cell you up?  Who SAYS that?"  My friend and I were saying that to each other for days.


I wouldn't even reply to him if I were you (I doubt that you would anyway).  He is super annoying and creepy.  This is like the 10th time I have found out some weird way that someone else I know knows this guy and they always meet him through IM.  I think he just scopes out member profiles and ads and stuff.


Oh, and I am SURE that it is not the first or last time he has written to someone on Craig's List.  I would be willing to bet my entire wardrobe (including designer bags) on it.

That is one of the many screen names he has.  Weird that he would choose that one to use to contact you when he has so many others.  The ones I can remember are DKNJ19, TurnerPittken, JasonAimeeLee, and of course, jasonnsuzy.  All on AIM. He used to always trick me into conversation by writing to me with new names and knowing information about me.  I would get an IM from someone I didn't know, ignore it, and then he would be like "so, are you still working at -----" or "are you still dating -----?" and then stupid me would be all like "Who is this?????" and it would turn into a long convo until I would finally figure out it was him.  Now I just know intuitively that it is him no matter where he writes from.


No idea who the Asian girl is.  I haven't seen him in years.  He probably just walked up to her and paid her to take a picture with him.

When I was 15 yrs old he hit me up and we started talking. After some time talking on the net we decided to meet up and he told me the same thing about running a pizza shop and when i asked him about suzy, he told me that was his sister. He is NOT 25, he was 25 when I had first met him and I'm 24 now. This guy is a major creep! He would always try to get me to do stuff with him and he knew i was a minor. I stopped talking to him when I was 16 and I'm still getting emails from him. I actually just got one today and I noticed he sent the email to some of my close friends from high school and i have no idea how he got them. Def. stay away from this guy.
