It looks like the pink in the top and the pink at the hem of the skirt may be a little different. do you think it would work? If so, I teach in a college and we really have no dress code so do you think it might be "too dressy" for work?
I think the top and skirt compliment each other beautifully. I don't think it matters one bit if the pink at the bottom of the skirt is a shade different than the top.
those are both BEAUTIFUL! I think it's fine, maybe even better that the two pinks don't match perfectly, especially since there's all that black in between them. hmm... I do think together, it's a tad dressy for work, though perfect for dinner or other dressier occasions. but I think separately they would work, like say the top with some nice grey wool pants (or ivory, black or camel) and the skirt with a less frilly top, like a 3/4-sleeve white cardigan or a cap-sleeve tee or sweater? btw, what do you teach?
I think that would be beautiful together! It is a bit dressy for work, but maybe you could wear it with some black knee-high boots and a cardigan or blazer to dress it down a bit?
