...I never found it to be too far beyond reason for the quality you're getting.
I tried this dress on and it was super-cute on, but $147 is just a BIT beyond my comprehension for it. Even though it's double lined and one of the most flattering and comfrotable dresses I've ever tried on. I just cannot spend $147 on a ruffly sundress, right?
Oh and this $103 lovely that was posted by I think jen...?
Ai yi yi...Pam and Gela, you break my heart sometimes...
Uh, right! No, you cannot spend $147 on a sundress!! Well...unless you really love it. Is that style selling out? It doesn't look like one that will be wildly popular (unless some starlet gets pictured in it) - I am thinking the ruffles might put some people off - if you're willing to wait it out Shopbop pretty consistently has a big Juicy sale towards the end of any season.
I like the second dress you posted - the colours remind me of neopolitan ice-cream. Alas, that model is skinny and flat chested and that look (the dress, not the body type!) has just never worked for me - it always makes me look too chesty and pregnant. Heh.

I'm actually surprised either dress looked halfway decent on me. I'm kinda tempted to tear off the ruffles on the first dress, but I figure I'm only a teenager once so I may as well get the cutesy pink Hello-Kittyness out of me before I get a job... I will probably beahve and wait on it, though...I agree it's a different style and most people will run away from it.
I don't know whether my boobs were having a flat day today (they're by no means small and I'm by no means skinny), but I didn't look pregnant in the second dress. And it was long...like below midthigh on me, although I'm 5'2" and the Juicy dresses usually hit barely above midthigh. Which is funny, because with the terry and velour ones I do look ginormous if I try to hide my stomach with a larger size.
The second dress IS selling out around LA, though. Damn hot weather.
