I had my first treatment for brazilian bikini laser hair removal last month- its amazing. 90% of the hair fell out and nothing has grown back yet. Its reeeally expensive but it will end up paying for itself when i don't have to wax anymore- yipee!!
anyways, if anyone has any questions, lmk. i was scared to do this and considered it for a couple years before i finally did, and i am sooo happy.
I've been wondering about this for a while. What is your skin tone/hair color? I've heard it works better on some skin tones than others? Also, does it hurt at all? Finally, how much is it if you don't mind me asking? Also, what do you do in between laser appointments to get rid of any hair that has grown in?
I am sooooo looking forward to being able to afford this! I can't wax (too prone to ingrown hairs) so I am counting the days! I second all of Nikkib222's questions, and would also like to know how long the treatment took?

yes yes, me too, i want to know it all... namely the price but also where r u from? i hope la cuz i could use some recs. anyways, i stopped waxing cuz it was too expensive & my waxer lady was kinda demeaning & rude. i have been wondering if it is safe to do this kinda thing down below... now i always get brazilian & play boy mixed up (well, not me, the salons, they can't keep consistent) so if u don't mind me asking, does brazilian mean that u got it ALL lasered off? and when i say ALL i mean ALL hair below the waist.... i want to get my legs done too cuz i have really dark leg hair (and really light skin which i hear is ideal for this procedure) so even when i shave u can see the dark hair roots below my skin & when i wax i get ingrowns. TIA for all info!!!!
Just typed out a whole long email and it didnt post! Argh!
Anyways, to answer your questions: I live in LA- it costs $350 a session and they say you need 6 sessions (PRICEY, i know, but at $50-60 a month for waxing, its a good invesment). The treatment takes about 45 min and doesn't hurt at ALL. They give you a numbing cream to put on about an hour before. They'll take off as little or as much as you want... but brazilian is EVERYTHING (incl. the back area... key!). I personally am leaving just a little triangle. I have light skin and dark hair which is ideal for the treatment, I guess. LMonet- I also had the same ingrown hair prob. as you which is what really prompted me to do this-- that and the pain of waxing! In between you can shave or do whatever you want really.
ooh ooh, mara come back!! so if u don't mind, could u name names, as in where exactly did u go? i don't want to go to some random & have them burn my skin (esp down there!) so i would totally appreciate a reccomendation! TIA- oh & thank u soooo much for what u've already posted, ur an angel... and an angeleno, how bout that?
