Hey Karina--I had a little bit of nausea in my first trimester.  For a few weeks I got it twice a day, usually before meals.  I've also had ligament pain, extreme irritability, was very emotional and exhausted (I still am, even in the 2nd tri).  Let's see, what else--oh, I'm really showing at 20 weeks & I get heartburn almost every day.  I get "cold sweats" while sleeping during the night, which is miserable.  Those are about all the symptoms I can recall.

The heart rate on the level 2 u/s was 156, but in the doctor's office 2 days earlier it was 150. They said anything between 120-160 was normal.

Are you hoping for a girl?  When is your level 2 ultrasound or is it too early to schedule??

Thanks for the additional well wishes and name suggestions, girls!  I have considered many of them but it stil helps to know what others like.

tosh--I'm surprised to hear that you have night sweats also.  I haven't heard of anyone else experiencing this during pregnancy-and I've been asking arund a lot.  How bad is yours?  Mine is pretty intolerable and I've tried a few things to try to curb it.  One thing that has helped a little is vitamns B6 and E.  Just FYI--it doesn't get rid of them completely, just minimizes it a little.  Oh the joys of being pregnant!

*Sarah
*Jessica
*Alyson
*Isabelle (Belle, for short)
*Emma (although as others have said, it's getting too popular--I guess we have Ross and Rachel to blame for that phenomenon)
*Rosalyn
*Emily
*Julia

How exciting. Congrats!  I love the name Isabelle.  If I would have a baby girl that is what I would name her.  She would probably go by "Lizzy" for short.  :)

Thanks everyone for the great suggestions & congrats!  This will definitely give my hubby and I something to talk about.

mikacat--My due date is June 6th.  A friend a mind suggested Evelyn today (also on your list) and I kind of like that.  I am going to mention it to hubby tonight.

Congrats! I'm sure you have plenty of names to choose from already but I thought I'd add a couple more.

Clara
Stella
Abegail
Kate
Lauren
Or a family last name sometimes works for a first name

These were like all of my suggestions! I like Claire, Ava and Grace, too, btw. And I really love the lastname as firstname idea. I am trying to convince my husband that my maiden name would make a cool 1st name. We'll see.

When/If I have a girl, I am probably choosing from this list:

Neva (pronounced Nee vah), Susan, Mary or Mary-Susan, Holly, Tascina (pron. Tasheena), Ingrid, Melanie, Kathryn, Christina, Pilar.

Oh and Sophia is a big favorite too, I agree with Cricket, and it means wisdom.  (Philosophy).
