i don't know if they are really worth it. i don't have any special hair needs but i wanted one.. so i got it. i love brushing my hair with it, but i can't really say that i noticed any special with it. there are lots of other brushes out there that have the same natural bristles are mason pearson.

i've heard good things about warren tricomi brushes. they are considerably less money i think.

I love mine; I'm glad I spent the money on it. I feel like it lets me skip shampooing a few days a week, because it distributes the oils. Rather than an oily scalp I feel like I have shiny hair.

Yes, yes, yes! I live for mine. I have a full size at home and a mini I keep in my purse. It is the best. Its hard for me to use other brushes now... I never ever get any frizzies when I brush my hair w/my MP. They last forever too!
