You bring up a good point -- how is this pad really all that different from a cloth diaper? Both collect waste products. Personally, I can't stand pads, but I don't see how the idea is all that strange.

starstuff, i was just thinking the same thing re: diapers. i don't think this is that gross, but like you i hate wearing pads, so this isn't something i plan on buying.
i've tried those intead cups and they didn't work for me at all.
I am seriously disturbed by the whole idea of that product. The whole concept just grosses me out.
I did try the Instead cup thingie, but I couldn't get it to sit right or whatever. The only thing that turned me on to that was so that I could trick my bf into getting frisky with me at a time when he otherwise wouldn't do it, hee-hee!!

LOL....I guess I live in hippieville too b/c I know several ppl who use these or the cup (also known as The Keeper). I've tried the Keeper before as an experiment and found that it does not work too well at all.
