STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

We have a cleaning lady that comes every other Saturday and she does the really down and dirty stuff. That being said, the BF is seriously OCD about the house being clean and the surfaces not having anything on them so I clean every night before bed as well. When I say surfaces not having anything on them I mean that our condo looks like a model home. We have one picture up in our entire living space and it is a professional black and white of Vinny on our fire place. I empty the dishwasher in the morning before I eat breakfast so the breakfast dishes do not sit in the sink too.

This isn't hard because it is just the two of us and Vinny. We have 3 bedrooms, but one is used as an office so it is never dirty, the spare bedroom is where I keep my clothes and books and when I change everything goes right on a hanger and shoes go right in the closet. Same thing in the master bedroom where he keeps his things. He makes the bed in the morning because I get up before him.

Anyway, it sounds strange, but I am thankful that he is the way he is because our place always looks perfect so that when we do have unexpected visitors we can just relax and wait for them to ring the bell:).
