The DVF sample sale starts tomorrow. I'm thinking of getting there first thing...have any of you gone on the first day before? I'm wondering how long the line will be. I've gone on the second day around lunch and there was about a 15min wait.
What: DVF Why: Holiday 07 and spring 08 dresses ($150), gowns ($300), blouses ($80), samples ($50), flats ($100), and more from the former princess. When: June 3-7. Tues. & Fri., 9 a.m.-6 p.m.; Wed., 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Thurs., 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sat., 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Where: 260 Fifth Ave., b/t 28th & 29th Sts.
I think so. I remember someone posting on here I think that they added stuff later in the week. I also know they started to mark things down more later in the week. I plan on hitting it up more than once just because a girl can never have too many DVF dresses!
I went a couple of years ago.. I waited outside 10-15 mins, then scoured the racks. I found about 2 wrap dresses in the entire place, it was mostly her separates, and not really much cheaper than you'd find on sale at Nordstroms. Maybe they've changed though.
So I got there early (8am) and towards the front of the line. There was a better wrap-dress selection than I'd seen last time (of course then I went towards the end of the sale). I ended up getting two wrap dresses and another dress and a few seperates, I'll post it on the weekday shopping thread in a bit. So NYC girls if you get there soon you may be in luck.
