I get my Fh an Ipod for Christmas and I've already got mine all loaded up from Itunes on our computer, is it possible to load up another Ipod from the same computer without us getting each otehrs songs on our Ipods? We have really different taste in music and I do not want his lame music on mine, nor does he want the Soundtrack to Grease on his. So can any of you help me? Has anyone else done this, is it possible?

I click & drag songs into mine instead of having them automatically updated each time. You can change your settings to manual update under preferences, then it wouldn't load your songs on each other's.
you should probably switch to a manual upload. also depending on what computer system you're using you can have different users. i have windows xp and you can have a bunch of different people as users with their own personal settings. if you created another user account you could probably download i tunes again and not worry about overlap.
My BF and I have both our iPods on the same computer. Since I have a mini and he has the 20GB, I chose to put mine to manually add songs. He gets his added automatically. It works out really well.
my BF and I have our iPods on the same computer and as long as only one of us is logged in, our songs upload automatically to our respective iPods...haven't had a problem yet. We also save all our songs on a shared file, so there aren't duplicates.
Funny...I was just asking people about this yesterday and nobody could really give me an answer. My sis was freakin out because she thought she might loose all her music if I plugged my ipod in...now I can tell her to chill. Thanks.
So this works, my sis was worried that she would lose all her music too...we have seperate itunes accounts? Can someone tell me how to do this in more detail? TIA
