01/06/05 Workout?
Permalink Closed

School and work cancelled today so I am lots of time to workout. BUT, I am extremely sore from working out everyday this week so I'm going to take it easy.

Triceps: skull crushers, extensions, dips

Chest: incline, decline, machine

Shoulders: machine press, weight press, upright rows

1 hour yoga class

My workout will be walking the neighborhood for 35 mins ~ WW recommendation

Eating wise this is how i'm doing today:

Breakfast - Banana Walnut Oatmeal with extra Bananas

Lunch - Soy chicken patty sandwich with f/f cheese, lettuce, honey wheat bread, ketchup. 1 large pear

Snack: string cheese

Dinner: Rotissaire chicken, rice dressing, potatoes of some sort (my friend is cooking)

Just as long as I stay away from the candy I'll be ok. I was bad and ate 7 chocolates! Not good for the diet!

Leftovers from last night: chicken simmered w/ crushed tomatoes w/ diced peppers, onions, garlic and canallini beans! yum!

There's a new "total core" class at the gym so I think I'll try that and then see what else I need to do there - elliptical or weights.

I'm behind on my snacking today but I'm about to eat lunch, which is a big salad w/ buttermilk dressing & a chicken breast.

A local coffee shop sells them, probably loaded w/ calories, but they are really yummy and have the word "lowfat" associated w/ them..I get them as a splurge about once a week instead of my normal egg routine! I can mail you a batch if you'd like ;)

thanks lola, that's really encouraging.  i'm actually pretty proud of myself too, IMHO.  especially since i'm a die hard candy fan!  i never thought i would be able to do it but suprisingly it's not that bad.  it's like i don't even crave anything unhealthy!  i've had a little lightheadedness at times, but i think it might just be in my head (haha, no pun intended) because i feel like i should be lightheaded.  when i went for my jog last night was the worst, but still not that bad.  usually if i start to feel ill i just snack on a fruit or veggie & feel better.  next week i get to have fish tho!!  i thought i couldn't til week 3... woo hoo!
