While I don't really love either, I vastly prefer #2. Maybe it's old-fashioned Emily Post advice, but I still can't do diamonds during the day so I feel weird having them on watches.

I prefer #1, but without the diamonds, hence I'd keep looking.

Edit: You could also put a white band on something else -

if I had to choose from the two you have shown, I would pick the fossil one.

I like it. From what you've chosen, it looks like you want a sporty look, and I think this one fits that bill better than the others.  I like the chronograph look with it.
