That Roomstogo site is fabulous. I found just what I was looking for and for a not so bad price. I just am not sure which table.

$879 for the table and 6 chairs.

$979 for the table and 6 chairs.

The cabinet is only $899. Which table do you think looks better?

Nice picks - glad I could help!  Both tables are beautiful!  I like the second one for its unique design,  but it might be better suited to a larger, more open floor plan (it looks a tad heavy and may overpower a smaller room).  I vote for the first table - it's simple without being plain and will also be more compatible with other design styles should you ever deside to change your decor.

^ i have to agree w/LMonet.  #2 is lovely, but quite bulky.  my table has similar legs & when sitting @ the head, it can be a uncomfortable for legs.

I would go with the first one.

i would vote for the first one too.  the design of the second is great, but it looks like it would be uncomfortable for someone sitting at the head.

Irene those are beautiful dining room sets, however I like the first one better. The second one is just as great however, I am scared that who ever sits at the head of the table might not have enough leg room. If someone is very tall and crosses their legs their knees might hit the wood. So someone might have to sit far back from the table. Im not sure though because I can not determine from the picture.
