I've been wanting this for a while and it is finally on sale so now I'm thinking really hard on it but I'm just not sure. The model looks really skinny so I'm having second thoughts because I'm a 36D to begin with and I'm only at 135 lbs not the 120 I was hoping for months ago but that is my new years resolution so I'll worry about it later.
So is this a top for flat chested girls who also have amazingly flat stomachs or could I pull it off?
i say yay! it's so cute. the tie at the waist will take attention away from a tummy that is less than flat. i think as long as you don't buy it too small it'll look great.
I like it & think it would be very flattering on all body types b/c of the waist definition. The top part seems fine b/c of the lines that shape it. Its really cool. How much by the way?
I think you can pull it off b/c unlike other tops that have that section where you boobs are suppose to be that section is larger on this top, so I think you can pull it off. I Think it is very cute and I say you should go for it.
I have more concerns re: the cleavage than about the tum. My thoughts are that the sash might either serve to distract from a tummy or to camoflage (sp?!) it. Ditto the side ruching could camo any bra bulges (always my concern in a tight shirt) But it looks like it comes super-low and half your boobs would be hanging out... On the other hand, the nice wide straps would allow for you to wear a good bra and it mgiht not be as booby as I think.
Eh, give it a try and see if it fits. If it is too tight, it could look cheap in both senses of the word. If it fits well, it could be fun, esp with sleek dark wash jeans. Can you return?

here's what i think. as far as the tummy is concerned, the top seems like it would do more to hide side bulges than a pot belly (not saying that you have either). imo the tie in front would draw attention to the front of your stomach, while the fact that it wraps will help hide (and hold in) anything that might bulge out at the sides. i actually think it might work well for larger chested girls. as dc pointed out it has wide straps, and if you look at the pic the bust seem is way below the model's bust line so there's room in there. other than that i would say if you buy the top, you should size up.
I really like this top and basically agree that it would be cleavage I would worry about, not tummy. Just make sure you wear a bra that doesn't make you look too booby - it shows quite an expanse of chest. I would be bursting out of that thing in a very obvious manner (I am a 34D).

hmm if you are a 34D and would bust out then I probably would too. I think i might just order it and see what happens. Maybe its just the way the model is wearing it <hoping> and if it looks bad I'll just return.
