Going to Aruba!!

yay for you! i love aruba! i have not been in august, so i don't know what the weather will be, in terms of hurricanes, but aruba is close to the same temperature every single day of the year.

you should expect dry heat, which is unusual for the caribbean, as aruba has an almost desert-like climate and atmosphere. you can rent little 4x4s and go on a "jeep tour" of the island, which i definitely recommend. there was a great restaurant, too, that serves the traditional food--i can't remember the name so i will look it up for you when i get a chance. and there is the very best steakhouse i have ever eaten in (seriously, no exaggeration)--it's argentinean and is kind of in the downtown area. i'll get you the name of that one also--i think maybe it is called gaucho's or something like that. if you eat steak, i require you to go there.

I loooooooooooooooooooooove Aruba!!!!!!!!!!!! I went there when i was younger and i always wanted to have my honeymoon there. It's so beautiful!!! You are going to have so much fun there. The weather is gorgeous. Although when we were there, we were in august and there actually a hurricane headed right in our direction. They boarded up the hotel windows and everyone was getting prepared for it. At the very last second, the hurricane turned and skipped over Aruba. We were so lucky because it was supposed to be horrible. But hopefully that won't be like that anymore. Have a great time though and take a lot of pictures!!!
