I'm still thinking of what I'm going to wear to an upcoming wedding, but I'm pretty sure that I'll wear one of my black skirts (knee-length, pencil or A-line) and find a pretty top. I was thinking of wearing these stockings because I think the red backseam is a fun little detail:
but when I mentioned this to my cousin, she said that she thought they were too sexy for a family wedding. I think they're pretty but I guess I thought of the backseam as an accessory more than anything slutty or suggestive, so now I need some more opinions. Can I wear these? Or should I stay bare-legged?
TIA!

Back seam to me is synonymous with fish nets and or something naughty. Whenever I see women wearing them on the street, i always wonder hmm is she a hooker? So I would say no.

HA! That's reason enough for me to stay away from them at a wedding!
Thanks for voting, everybody. I didn't want to admit it but I guess they aren't a good idea.

Ha! I voted that they're okay. I'd wear them to a wedding if it was a fun, friend wedding. Or one where I didn't know very many people. I guess maybe not to a family wedding where my grandmother would be though...
Honestly I think they're fine when you wear them with a normal outfit. They're fun and funky but if you're worried people will think they're odd, I can see not wearing them.

I agree with this. In my crazy family, no one would find this odd or risqué. But I can see how in a more traditional or conservative crowd, this wouldn't go over well.
