Gift suggestions anyone?
Permalink Closed

I am so excited, because my best friend just got engaged! But get this -- she is getting married in February. Of 2005! And they are not eloping.

I was thinking of getting her a planner or a book or something as an engagement gift, but I don't know of any good ones that will help someone getting married in 2 months. Anyone have any other suggestions?

The thing I lived by was a BIG binder with dividers...it is better than anything on the market. I made one for my BF when she got engaged. I divided it up by sections...dress, reception hall, flowers, photographer, etc...

Then I bought a bridal mag...and tore out the different sections on how to find a florist, list of dress shops, etc...and put the in the book for her.

JMR i did that for my sister also! and she really uses it! she actually carts it everywhere with her.

i think that would be a great gift halley- it will help her to prioritize. maybe include a calendar also?

LOVE the binder idea.  I got one w/folders in it and it's full(!!!) of info, but I had 1 yr. I'd also include a list of wedding websites so find quick info.

just a short list:

www.weddingchannel.com

www.theknot.com

www.bedbathandbeyond.com actually had a page w/some great ideas.

http://www.bridalbabe.com/html/

www.modernbride.com

http://www.weddinggazette.com/

http://www.bridalink.com/
