grrr. just bought a pair of seemingly cute pants from Banana Republic
and they are already stretched out in the waist and bagging in the butt! maybe i just have a weird body but i am so frustrated with pants in general. nothing seems to flatter or fit. and i have pants from theory, gap, ae, br, you name it...
DC Shopper, I really can't offer any help except to sympathize with you. I have the same problem. I find them to fit and then they stretch out. When they fit me in the waist they bag in the butt, and when they fit in the butt, they are too high in the waist. I have had luck with a couple of pairs at Gap. I am about to give up and start wearing skirts all the time.
BR quality has been slipping for three years. And it's not your body. No one makes pants that fit. One of my good friends is literally 6 feet tall, model thin, and a size six. No cellulite, no hips. And she can't find pants that fit her either.
I hear you guys, I have friends of all shapes and sizes who have trouble finding pants to fit. I'm pretty straight and thin, but thicker around the middle, and pants always bag in my butt and my thighs if they fit my waist. Honestly, I have a lot of stuff tailored to fit me. If you find a good tailor you can be sure you'll get a good fit, and it's usually only $20-$25 to get the waist or thighs tailored. If you're already spending $100 on a pair of pants at BR, or even more for Theory or BCBG, it's worth it!
DC Shopper, I feel your pain! You do not have a weird body! *hugs*
You might want to try Chaiken pants. I've got the same curvy issues and Chaiken pants fit like a dream. I just can't bring myself to plunk down the money on them when I don't wear trousers that often. I think bumblebee can offer some raves, it was her I think who first mentioned that Chaiken pants fit her better than Theory.
