I am so tired of my straight one lengh hair, but I just don't know what to do with it. Is there any suggestions on where to look for haircuts? I am in a hair rut and I need to get out of it! Thanks.

Where do you live? I would start looking through magazines and cut out styles that you like. Then take it to a salon. Do you like any of your friends hair cuts? Ask them where they go.
I love the Salon that I go to and I don't want to change. I can never find any styles that I like in magazines. They all look to 'soap operay' to me- if that makes sense. I want something a little less perfect and a little more punky. I am just having a hard time finding something I want.

Are you looking in regular magazines or in 'hairstyle' magazines?

Ick! Hairstyle magazines! Definitely go through some regular mags and I'm sure you'll find something you like - I've gotten all the hairstyles I've ever had out of regular magazines.

I have looked at regular magazines and most are just celebrites. I just haven't found anything yet. I am at the point where I am going to tell my stylist to do whatever she wants- It is just hair and it will grow back. I don't care anymore.

You know, if you really trust you're stylist, that might be a great idea. Hopefully, she is up on the current trends and knows what looks good w/ your facial structure. It may be kind of scary to put yourself at someone's mercy like that, but you'll never know until you try!
I do trust her and I have been going to her for about six years. I am really not that weird about my hair, so I think unless i find something I really love that is what I am going to do. She is the professional. I like her style to she. She is a little more punky that most of the stylist at the Salon, so I think she will be able to do something cool.
