nyc happy hour

I'm going out with a girlfriend after work and I'm wondering if any of you ny area gals have some recommendations for a good happy hour bar. I'll probably be meeting her in Midtown East, around Grand Central, but I'm willing to go out anywhere in the city. Just want to find a place with nice, reasonably priced drinks (under $10) and maybe some good eats.
