I want really really long, curly eyelashes for New years. Other than fake eyelashes what are my options?

Which mascara will help me get my look?

Thanks!

I'm using Dior Show and it is awesome for giving you bold, black eyelashes.  It also seems to seperate them really well so it looks like I have a lot.  Try it with the She Uerma eye lash curler.

Sigh.  Mascara and I have a love/hate relationship.

I never find one I love for a long time.  I always end up fininding faults with it.

Right now, I am using (again) MAC Mascara X.

I looooove Max Factor 2000 Calorie Lash.  I have gone back to this again and again over the years.  When I was a dancer and constantly doing shows, I got really tired of doing my fake lashes b/c the glue irritated my skin.  I used four coats of this mascara instead of fake lashes and no body ever knew the difference .

another vote for DiorShow mascara.  if you don't like the brush, then try YSL Faux Cils.  both are amazing, but i found YSL to be tear/humidity-resistant.

I LOVE Lancome Definicils. It's really dramatic and I've had people ask if I was wearing false eyelashes when I had it on.

For a less dramatic, more everyday, cheap-o mascara I like Mabelline Illegal Lengths.

I hate the Maybelline pink and green one all the magazines say is amazing... it does nothing for me.

I have been using Clinique's Lash Doubling for years and I love it. It coats well, never clumps and removes easily too.

I sed MAC and I like it. Then I switched the Maybelline Great Lash really like that but this girl at work has AMAZING EYE LASHES. She uses Lancome Flextincils (sp?) any way I bought it this wkd, and like it so far except I worked sooooooo many hours today I now look like a racoon from rubbing my eyes! Plus Lancome has a great gift w/ purchase now.. and you get a little version of  the defincils (sp?) mascara.

I have another vote for Dior Diorshow. It's pricey, but it's also twice the size of any drugstore mascara. You'll find the brush scary at first because it seems so huge, and you'll wonder how in the world you're not going to poke yourself in the eye...but as soon as you get the hang of it, you'll love the fact that the brush is big. It really makes my eyelashes big, dark, and long with some curl. That is my favorite mascara...but I am always looking for something new to try. I love mascara!

everyone in mags talks about Great Lash - which I am not feeling - where it's REALLY at is Maybelline Full N Soft, baby, yeah!

If you're looking for drugstore, I'd say go with Max Factor 2000 Calorie. The only problem with it is that it starts to clump pretty quickly. It doesn't clump on your lashes quickly, just doesn't stay very fresh in the tube, so you have to replenish more often than with other mascaras. But while it's good, it's damn good. Very dramatic lashes, especially with multiple coats.

Mascara frightens me, but the one that I would buy if I could afford to is the Shu Uemura (sp?) one. That just makes my lashes look perfect, lush and long but not exorbitantly so...I might be forced to get it at Sephora despite that $27 price tag...

I actually like Maybelline's Great Lash mascara...although I use the waterproof formula.  I love that it lengthens and darkens my lashes...yet, it looks very natural.  Dramatic?  No.  But it does give me that I'm-not-wearing-mascara-my-lashes-are-naturally-this-great look.   My one complaint is that it does seem to clump up in the tube quickly...probably because it is a cheaper product.  I'd love to try pricier alternatives though..love the suggestions from everyone!

I love Max Factor 2000 calorie. I have baby lashes that are super curly and it's by far my favorite brand. I will use MAC mascara as a distant second.
