I know it's the holidays, but how is everyone doing with their workouts/gym time? I have been doing okay. I had the flu and chest congestion, so I had to cut back to 3 days a week, instead of my usual 5 for the past two weeks. Then I am probably going to be sporadic about it the next 3 weeks of my vacation. I did get a jump rope and resistance band to bring with me though. I hope I use them.
I have also saved up a nice chuck of change from my $5 per day at the gym plan, and I am going to buy something outrageous in London for me. :D
Wow, your doing so good! Have fun buying yourself something in London, from what I read, you totally deserve it! Dont forget to show us picutures. I've been thinking of trying to use the jump rope for cardio, anyone use it and know it works?
I've been doing spin classes for about 3 months now, my friend and I go every mon and tues, and then we take an aerobics class on thurs, which is killer...we use one of those huge balls to tone our arms, hopefully I'll get to go more often this month, now that my finals are over and I have more free time (that's the plan anyway)
I have gotten totally off track with my workouts. I was sick for over a month, which just completed wiped out my energy. By the time I got home from work, I just had zero motivation to work out. It's especially bad because I'm running in a marathon on 1/9!!! I was finally feeling better this weekend though and did manage to walk 8 miles on Saturday and then another 4 on Sunday. I'm going to have to start stepping it up though to get in marathon shape
I had been slacking and I could no longer see my abs. But I am getting back on track now and I can see the top two. That is how I judge how good/bad I'm doing because I notice it first. My muscle def. is good. I need to do more cardio though. I'm trying---second workout tonight will be pilates.
I'm a slacker...I'm also sick :( I've been working out about 5 days a week, but my cardio routine is almost non-existent and I'm just not pushing myself like i used to...but my new "relationship" w/ my trainer is getting me more motivated to do better and work harder! :)
