I have been loving the look of fur lately -- kind of creeped out by the thought of wearing a dead animal skin, but able to get over it.
anyway, i found this beautiful mink coat at an antique shop (the kind where they just clear out people's estates and throw absolutely everything into this store -- so there's lots of junk, but you can find great stuff at good prices). it's knee length and has a few places where it needs to be repaired. they are asking $60 -- is it worth it?
also, what's the deal with cleaning fur? can it be cleaned?
Don't forget you have to store fur somewhere. You can't just keep it in a closet. Not sure how much it would be to repair it but you might want to call around some dry cleaners and tailors to get some prices to see how much the $60 coat will end up costing you in reality.
