CC- did you ever buy the handmaid bag by michelle frantz from bluefly?  i remember you were toying with the idea of buying the black one.  i've been considering it too but im stuck on the fact that they only have the magenta and the purple left in the small.  i really want it in black but the fact that its an overnight bag (so basically, its huge) throws me. annyways (i'm so long winded) did you buy it?  if not, should i buy it?   


JMR- did your mom ever find a black purse that she liked?

no, i didn't. i kept putting it off. now, of course, i'm totally bummed that they don't have the smaller size anymore.

i wound up winning this bag on ebay for around $45. it seems pretty cool - plain but not totally boring - and it converts into a tote bag which intrigues me.

missbean, it seems like you can fold up the bottom part of the tote and there is a clip to hold it in place, or you can release the hook to open the bag up to full size.
i should get it in a few days, i'm really interested to see what it's like.

my mom ended up buying the same Botkier bag I have (the black Trigger) - she didnt want to get the same one as I have - but she couldnt resist....and I dont mind.
