My own freakish similarities with Leah Remini (see my avatar?) sparked this post. I actually signed an autograph once - it worked out because we have the same first names !!! It still really freaks me out to watch King of Queens b/c it is like seeing myself on television (with a little more makeup!). Is there a celebrity that you resemble or have been mistaken for?

I get a lot of different ones...but mostly Sandra Bullock. I don't see it.
the BEST celebrity lookalike comment I have ever gotten was from a drunk man two years ago that I was waiting on when I use to waitress. He said "you look like sandra bullock in that movie miss congeniality, you know, before she got all pretty..." yeah...I was having a good night that night....
When I was blonde, I got Naomi Watts a lot (damn, I wish!!!) from my husband and my students.
Now that I am brunette, kids always tell me I look like Winona Ryder. (They have to watch The Crucible junior year...that must be part of it. Of course, some of the poor dears get confused, and say "You look like that Amish lady from The Crucible." LOL)
I think if I resemble any celebrity in the face, it's probably Niki Taylor, though it's a long shot. My mom used to say I look like her all the time...esp. because we both have beauty marks above our lips.
I would be happy to look like any of the above people (LOL). Now, if I just had that personal trainer/stylist/makeup artist...

When I was younger and had much longer hair people would not believe me when I told them I wasn't Winnie Cooper from the Wonder Years. Sometimes I would just sign autographs (even though I didn't know her name, just signed "Winnie Cooper!") to get people to leave me alone!!
Lately I've also been hearing Kiera Knightly and Natalie Portman - please! I'll admit to the Winnie thing, but those two are a bit of a stretch. What do you think?
Bostongal, I can kinda see Keira Knightley, but I cannot see Natalie Portman at all!
I think I look like Michelle Branch. Michelle even thinks I look like her. It was funny because I actually met her IRL last year after she has taped segments for Nickelodeon (I used to intern for them way back when). She was exhausted after the filiming because it was like 11 PM, but when we saw each other it was weird because we were both wearing similar outfits and we had our hair and makeup done similarly and then we both say "Hi" in completely shocked voices to each other. Later, the guy who escorted her to her car told me it was because she was shocked to see someone who looks just like her.
My BF just keeps going on an on about how I look like the Asian Hilary Duff. In other words, if I was a blonde with hazel eyes, I'd look just like her. Now I guess having had my brows waxed 2x per year by the same person who does hers doesn't exactly help me not look like her...
I don't get a lot of comments about looking like a celebrity, but I get a lot of, "you look EXACTLY like my sister/cousin/best friend/dog walker" then I meet the person and they are not so attractive. Or, when I first started working at a law firm with a good friend of mine, everyone kept asking/assuming we were sisters, and I don't think either of us really wanted to look like the other. People also got me very confused with a rather chunky (but very sweet) new attorney. -sigh-
A few people have said I resemble Drew Berrymore. I don't really look like her but it's probably the closest I look to any celebrity, if I had to pick one.
bostongal, you do look like winnie cooper, but with lighter hair! funny. I can sort of see the comparisons with kiera knightley/natalie portman.
I've had several people tell me that I look like a younger Carrie Fisher (think Star Wars days). What's weird is that we have the same first name too, spelled the same way...
oh! i just thought of a good one! My FI says I sort of resemble Ingrid Bergman - also got this once from kind elderly gentleman at church when I was little.
And another guy once said I had that old-timey movie star look. but no one else agreed with him.
People used to tell me that I looked like Michelle Branch (when she first came out)...but now her look has changed alot and no one says that anymore. Another guy told me that I look like mandy moore....but we were in a bar and I think that he was just trying to pick me up b/c i really don't look a thing like her.
I've heard Sarah Michelle Gellar (I get this the most), Jennifer Aniston and, when my hair was lighter blonde, Jessica Simpson. I don't really see any of those.
we've done this poll so many times! i wish i had a better answer, but it's always the same. i look remarkably like renee zellweger, to a doppelganger level. we also have similar mannerisms and speaking voices. now we have the same dark hair. i work in beverly hills and people double-take all the time thinking that i am her when i am walking around on my lunch break. usually about 2-3 times per day, someone will stop me on the street or in a shop to tell me that i look like her or thinking that i am her.
I've lost count of how many people have said, "Oh my gosh... has anybody ever told you that you look just like Charlotte from Sex and the City." Umm, yes. It wasn't that bad until I came to Florida and then I started getting told this by people at school, in the grocery store, at bars, etc. at least once a week. When my hair is in a ponytail, I think we look alike, but not so much when it's down. I've got a new 'do so maybe people won't see the resmeblence, but our facial features are still similar.
