My fiance is out of town for work while he's on his school break.  He's been gone 4 days now and he just told me today he's not going to be able to come home this weekend.  Basically, I won't see him again until Christmas, and then he'll be gone again until New Year's.  It's fun to be alone for the first few days, but now it's getting a little lonely and tiresome - now I have to do all his chores too!   Thanks for letting me feel sorry for myself

Bummer! Sorry to hear your sad news, I would miss my husband after so long too. Especially around the holiday times.
Surprise him with something,... a new haircut for you, color it or think of something else. I dont know,... trying to help you feel better.

I know how you feel. This is my life. My fiance is in law school so i only see him on weekends and even that is limited. So, spend time with your friends and your family i volunteer to help people with their holiday shopping almost personal shopping with them to help them out.

i know exactly how you feel, my fiance usually travels a lot, abroad, and sometimes for weeks at a time.  He hasn't in a long time, which is nice.  But after a few days, it does start to get lonely.  as it stands now he might be away for several months immediately following our honeymoon, which is totally ridiculous but if he refuses, he basically has to find a new job.  sucks.

It is officially not fun anymore .  I did go shopping last weekend (and spent all the money in the process).  Are we engaged to the same man DCS?  Mine will be gone from March through June doing his clinicals in Houston .  I am glad, however, that I can watch as many Friends reruns as I want and stay up late watching Sex and the City !  I am not glad, however, that I now have to cook for myself , do my own dishes (I refuse to do the roomies crusty dishes, yuk) and take out the garbage .  I am soooo counting the days  . . .
