Help! I just found out my hairdresser has left the salon and I don't know where she went, or if she is even doing hair anymore. I made an appointment with another stylist at the salon, but I was loyal to the stylist, not the salon, so if anyone has recommendations, please share! I need someone who can work with long straight no-fuss hair, charges no more than $100 for a haircut (cheaper is better!) and is in the city.
I can not say enough good things about my stylist (Meredith) at Salon V. I am super anal about my hair, and I broke up w/my previous stylist (who I had gone to for almost ten years) because Meredith blew me away. I seriously have never gotten so many compliments about my hair. She charges $100 per haircut, but I think your first visit is 20% off. And everyone at the salon is super nice. Salon V is located at Webster/Sheffield in Lincoln Park- not sure if that's convenient for you...If you want more info, feel free to PM me...good luck!
Greca, is Salon V an Aveda salon? I don't hate Aveda products but I can't say I particularly like them either. If the stylist is that great though, I would still go there!
J - I see Carina at Art and Science on Halsted and Armitage and I really like her. She charges $55 for a cut. She also sends me little coupons throughout the year like 20% off a cut after the holidays and stuff.

Jac - if I were you, I'd go to Farrah's girl. $55 for a cut in the city is pretty much the best deal I've heard, plus, we know Farrah's hair always looks fabulous
This is, however, the reason I drive to the burbs for my $25 cut! $100 for a cut - ouch!
