Never counted, but including all my dress shoes, work shoes, winter shoes/boots, summer sandals...it has to be close to 50...on second thought, maybe it's over 50... :o
i have about 30 pairs of shoes, 5 boots, and 10 trainers. way more than i wear on a regular basis.

I've done this math before, and it is scary! I'm a shoe-hoarder. I keep shoes for years and years and years (all wrapped up tight and cozy so they stay fabulous). You never know when they'll come back in and if you've only worn them once or twice... well, you get my drift. Case in point: I had a pair of pointy-toed slouchy boots in wine-colored suede with a little cowboy boot type heel. I gave them away thinking I would never wear them and now look at me! I'm scouring the stores for a pair exactly like them! Never throw away good accessories (shoes, purses, scarves, etc.) because you never know when you'll want them back!
I have quite a few more pairs thanks to GCO online on ebay. I'd say about 20 pairs of boots, 10 pair of sneakers, slides, or sandals, 20 everyday loafers, pumps, tie shoes, and mary janes, and few pairs of dressy pumps. Can you ever have too many shoes?
So I counted since I got rid of a few pairs, then added a few more. I have 67 pairs of shoes of which I probably wear 80% of them regularly, the others are more special occasion.
I have 8 pairs of boots and 4 pairs of trainers/sneakers.
